The cemetery is open all year long between dawn and dusk. It is actively used. Anyone needing to visit the cemetery during the night, should contact St. John's Cemetery.
Flowers may be planted in shallow area or placed on plots. However, extensive digging for trees or shrubs is prohibited. Inquiries made about the planting of trees or shrubs should be directed to St. John's Cemetery.
Contact Gulf Coast Wilbert Inc., which handles all interments/disinterments. After a disinterment, people may consider selling the empty plot to St. John's Cemetery, Inc., someone else, or donating it to Friends of St. John's for a tax deduction.

There continue to be services at St. John's in 2011. There were 15 in 2010 and 26 in 2009. There was one disinterment in 2010.
